Bras are Banned on the Set of “Girls”

Apparently if you want in on the set of HBO’s hit series, “Girls,” you better ditch your bra quick. Rumor has it that actress Allison Williams made note of the dress code during a pre-Emmy’s party last week.

A stereotypical staple in feminist ideology since the bra-burning days of the 1960’s and 1970’s, the mark of a “true” feminist is one who disregards what has been called the most restrictive of undergarments.

The bra banishment on set is stupid. Personally, I’m actually uncomfortable if I’m not wearing a bra. If someone feels more or less comfortable wearing certain undergarments, that’s their choice. It’s not up to anyone, even Lena Dunham, to police what a person should or shouldn’t be wearing underneath their clothes.

Sorry Lena, I don’t agree with you on this one.
