130605_revenge-pornCalifornia can now add an anti-revenge porn law to its list of ever-growing regulations which have changed things for the better.

It is now a misdemeanor to “post identifiable nude pictures of someone else online without permission with the intent to cause emotional distress or humiliation.”

Yes, we admit that “intent to cause emotional distress or humiliation” may be hard to prove in some cases. Additionally, certain loopholes will probably cause issues for many victims, such as the fact that the photos have to have been taken by the person who is also spreading them around on the internet,

Despite the loopholes, the fact that this law exists in the first place is incredible, considering it is more than what any other state has done to combat this problem.
