A campaign from UN Women uses real Google searches to show just how far the scope of sexism really is in the world.

The images speak for themselves as they use real Google searches from early September of this year.

Creator Christopher Hunt, head of art for Ogilvy & Mather Dubai, told Adweek that by using the worlds most popular search engine it brings to light how real gender equality is in society today.

For a bit of contrast, GCR did a Google search of their own, using auto-completes from “men shouldn’t” or “men cannot.” Here’s what we found.

We aren’t ignoring the searches that say men need to grow up, or men need to be men, because maybe those searches mean that there’s hope to ending the gender gap and helping women get on an even level with men.

Google searches were done on October 21, 2013, on the East Coast in the United States.
