Pussy Riot Protests Putin’s Regime via Music Video

Russian punk collective Pussy Riot is making headlines again with the release of their music video, Putin Will Teach You How to Love the Motherland following at least two of the band members being detained by Sochi officials.

The band, including now notorious Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina, were in Sochi to perform the song and film it to be used in what is now the music video that was released on Wednesday. In doing so they were attacked and beaten by Cossaks, showing the real amount of violence taking place in Russia.
